Public speaking of the president of Holding at the forum «Termokonvent»

Within the exhibition Aquatherm Moscow 2018 the business forum Termokonvent was held. The leading participants of the climatic market were brought together to discuss the current problems and the prospects of development of the branch of heating radiators production. Discussion of increase in a share of steel panel radiators in a segment of heating devices became one of the key moments. To share his opinion on the matter the president of trade and production Holding Forte, Alexander Denisov was invited:

"Traditional desire of consumers to buy high-quality and effective device most profitably always stimulated the healthy competition among producers and suppliers of radiators of heating. But as a rule, devices of one and the same type are compared. Steel panel radiators don’t differ much from the aluminum and bimetal models in terms of thermal performance. But they have one important advantage – low cost. But this quality becomes noticeable not in itself but only in comparison with other kinds of radiators.

Having carried out simple calculations, we will see that the price of 1 kW of power of steel panel radiators is lower, than of heating devices of other types. For example, when comparing steel and aluminum radiators required for heating of the room with the identical area, the difference in cost reaches 60-70% in favor of the first. Consumers begin to understand that choosing the heating device, they pay for kilowatt thermal first of all, but not for the number of devices. Irrespective of brand and model of a radiator, heat from the steel battery will be much cheaper, than from aluminum.

Analytical data of 2017 confirm the increasing interest in steel panel radiators and strengthening of their share in the market (only in the first half of the year growth was 44%). Dynamic changes in branch can be compared to the European scenario where steel panel radiators have almost completely replaced aluminum and bimetallic devices of heating and occupy now about 90% of the market.

Similar outcome is not likely in Russia due to the number of the restrictions in operation of steel radiators and impossibility to use them in the systems of centralized heating. But the market of aluminum radiators can be successfully replaced. It allows to draw a conclusion on prospects of the market of steel panel radiators and its rapid growth".
